From the 5th to the 23rd of March, our Programme Development Officer, Léa Guignard, delivered an impactful training sessions for community-based rehabilitation workers in Malawi and Ethiopia, focusing on the effective use of the RehApp, developed by . The goal of this training was clear: to enhance the practical skills and confidence of these dedicated professionals, empowering them to utilise the RehApp effectively in their crucial work with children with disabilities. As a result, participants left feeling more prepared to provide impactful support and interventions that truly make a difference.
This training was made possible through our partnership with the District Hospital of Mangochi in Malawi and the GAT Center in Ethiopia. Together, we equipped caregivers, community-based rehabilitation workers, and health professionals with essential insights into various disabilities, ensuring they had the knowledge needed to foster positive change.
The RehApp stands out as a user-friendly and transformative tool, meticulously designed to guide users through each step of the rehabilitation process. It enables professionals to craft personalised intervention plans that have a lasting impact. Featuring continuous monitoring capabilities, the app supports data-driven improvements, ensuring that care remains effective and responsive to the evolving needs of the children they serve.
